After arriving at St Joe's, it was confirmed that my water did break - the nurse said 'you're going to have a baby today'. Things began slow, but around 9:30am, it started to move really quick. By 11am, it was time to push and Mr Man arrived at 12:51pm.
We stayed at the hospital until Thursday afternoon. Baby boy listened to his first Badger game. We heard the basketball team beat American in the first round of the NCAA tournament before heading home.
Hanging in the hospital.
The first few days at home were a little rough as we found our groove. We were blessed with visits from the KP home care team on Friday, Saturday and Monday to help make sure we were all doing well. Momo arrived on Saturday and was a great help as well.
The rest of Sammy's first week included a few trips outside the house - to daddy's work, to Target, to Mad Greens. Baby boy liked the car rides. We had visits from Auntie Julie, the neighborhood friends (Nick, Betsy, Marshall and Katie) and Will, Hoover and Campbell.
